Whatsapp warns its users about new update that is currently available to download on Google Play Store.

for more than one million times, whatsapp fake new update has been downloaded from Google Play Store. also there has been another fake app that users has been alerted of and it became available on Android app store.But the latest version is even more shocking. The ‘Update WhatsApp Messenger’ app was appeared on the Google Play Store and looked like it had been created by the real makers of WhatsApp. according to Google Play Store page, the fake new update was claimed that it is developed by real makers of Whatsapp Inc. However, it was instead a fake app that contained ads and download software onto a user’s device.The Google Play Store has omitted this new update from its page, as has the other fake app that was alerted to users over the weekend.

it has been told to Whatsapp fans to avoid a fake version of that app because it will steal the user’s data. The counterfeit programme seems to be a fake or hacked WhatsApp version of the upcoming WhatsApp business app and is available to download from the Android app store. Based on what the warned users to this issue have complained, the app was full of ads and it will steal users data. one of the users wrote a comment on the review section of the app: why do Google allow these kind of fake apps to be available on Play Store?
Also there are some other complains about this fake app by the users:
“It’s a fake app and never ever download it.”
“I am not able to open it”.
“Fake website, don’t install, all data theft”.
by the time that the fake WhatsApp Business app was flagged up, the name of the app has now been changed to ‘Update WhatsApp’. it is expected that the Whatsapp new business app will be released as soon as possible. Also this application is designed to be more simple for business users to contact with regular users. the order submission will be available for Whatsapp users and they can receive update from companies on it.WhatsApp COO Matt Idema talked about WhatsApp Business earlier this year. He said: “We want to make this app’s function easier than ever and make it more simple for people to message business receive the responses they want. We do intend on charging businesses in the future.
A primitive version of this app has been available for testers, although there is no official release date for the general public. Technology blog Android Police has gone through the latest beta version and pointed out several new features on WhatsApp Business app. for the first time, Whatsapp will support landline numbers, which means customers who call or message your landline number will appear within the WhatsApp client. customers who would want to use the chat window on a business website, now are able to send them a message within Whatsapp.
